Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are paired up and ready to come out with their latest film , ‘ Haider ‘ on the 2nd of October , 2014 . The film is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is based on Shakespeare’s legendary novel , Hamlet . The lead role is played by Shahid Kapoor as he portrays the protagonist character of Hamlet in the movie. This movie can be termed as Shahid’s most challenging movie till date as he plays a very different role , with a new look altogether.

The film has successfully created excitement and expectations ever since its initial trailer release which proves the Haider movie is intense , dark and action packed. Another aspect of the movie has recently been brought to the public, which refers to its music. Vishal Bhardwaj have themselves taken major responsibility in composing the music for this movie while the lyrics for all the sound tracks have been provided by Gulzar. The makers have come out with two songs after the release of its trailer . One of them is titled ‘Aao Na’ which is a romantic dark song with lyrics that are different but certainly heart touching . The track is sung by Vishal Dadlani and was released on August 11 , 2014 . The other song is sung by Sukhwinder Singh and is titled ‘Bismil’ , and has been well composed and brought out . Since Shahid is a dancer, the song has brought out some of his excellent moves through subtle choreography . The song consists of a tribal set up and sees Shahid in heavy traditional costumes , shaking a leg and slowly moving his body to drums and guitars.

The film has also taken in the trend of making the members of the cast sing a few songs as both Shraddha Kapoor and Tabu gave their voices for a couple of tracks. Shraddha , who recently sung the female version of ‘Galiyan’ from the movie Ek Villain did not shy back from holding the mike again. Surprisingly, even Tabu did not hesitate in trying her hand at exercising her vocal chords as she decided to sing a Kashmiri Folk Song . The makers have experimented with the veteran , but with the latest success of stars turning into singers , it may turn out to boost the success of the film’s music department before and after the release of the film.

Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor launched the music of the film along with Vishal Bhardwaj at Radio Mirchi studios in Mumbai. The soundtrack will have physical release in September 2014.

“The song’s emotion had to reach the audience. Apart from the dance steps, what was important was to get across the character’s angst and feelings to the audience through choreography,” said Shahid Kapoor when asked about the song Bismil.

The film cast also includes veterans like Tabu , Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon .
