Kunal Khemu proposes to Soha Ali Khan in Paris, and she accepts

It is righty said that true love never fails and Kunal Khemu and Soha Ali Khan are just the right eg for it. Recent Soha Tweeted that “It gives me great happiness to share with you all that Kunal proposed to me in Paris with the most perfect ring in the world and I said ‘yes’,” she tweeted.

 

 

The couple has been together for quite some time now and finally they are engaged. The couple has always been open about their relationship and booth the families have been very supportive. While the ‘Kalyug’ star’s father Ravi Khemu reportedly said in an interview recently that he would bless the couple whenever they wish to get married. The actor has been apart of movies like Kalyug, Go Goa Gone which was a super hit movie. Whereas Soha was recognized for her acting skills in the movie Rang De Basanti. Sharmila Tagore's gifted  Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu an apartment for her daughter Soha in a posh area in Mumbai. 

 

Soha soon moved with her boyfriend Kunal Khemu in the Rs 9 crore house gifted by her mother back then. The two have been living together in that apartment since. First the Nawab decided to settle down with lady love Kareena Kapoor and now wedding bells for Soha Ali Khan are around the corner. Soha and Kunal met on the sets of 'Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge' and '99' and love happened. Although, it wasn't instant, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Soha opened up about her relationship with Kunal and said that she didn't think they would be friends when they first met each other while doing 'Dhoonte Reh Jaaoge', let alone being in a relationship. In the same interview Kunal said that he thought of her as this Oxford graduate and she was even writing an article for Oxford University's magazine and didn't know that they'll click. But they say love conquers all and soon the two were drawn to each other. Meeting your lovers parents is quite a big deal and it becomes a bigger deal when you have celebrity parents. In an interview with Hindustan Times way back in 2012, Soha said that she told her mother Sharmila Tagore about Kunal but could never broach the subject in front of her father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. Soha said that the first time her mom met Kunal was on the sets of their film '99'. However, it was not a perfect meeting they would have ideally wanted, Kunal was doing a scene where he had to be in a bathrobe that day and that's how he met Sharmila Tagore for the first time! Soha adds that her mother instantly liked Kunal.
