Govinda in jagga jasoos

Not many people know Govinda’s real name is Govind Arun Ahuja. His Jodi with director David Dhawan has created many super hits in the 1990’s. He is mostly known for doing comedy films and has been received film awards for couple of his films. Govinda after a long gap, will be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu’s joint production, Jagga Jasoos. Govinda who is the dancing sensation of the yesteryears will be seen in a senior role in this film. His recent movie, the superhit film, Holiday in 2014, he made a special appearance as a Senior officer. 

 

 

He plays Ranbir Kapoor’s missing stepfather in this film. The plot of this film has not been released yet. This debut production of Ranbir and Anurag Basu is an action, comedy, romance, spy film where Ranbir plays the role of a spy. Anurag Basu is an award-winning writer, director and a producer who has made many popular television programs and movies. He started his career as a director with Ekta Kapoor’s production, Kuch Toh Hai, a mystery horror film that was also a superhit. Most of the Anurag Basu films are blockbusters. Though Ranbir Kapoor has done two films with his beau Katrina Kaif, it is rumoured that he started this production to initiate a movie with his current love interest, Katrina Kaif. 

 

 

Govinda is known for his colourful costumes in most of his film as well as real life. This will be the first time Ranbir kapoor will be working with Govinda and it is said that the actor is too excited to work with him. With this film Ranbir Kapoor will also turn into a producer. It is yet to be known if his descent in the production will bring him success or not. Govinda has also been a television presenter and a politician for a brief period. He has gained many honours and recognition for his work. He has frequently collaborated with actors like Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Johnny Lever, and Satish Kaushik in most of his films. He has also worked in many films opposite actors Karishma Kapoor, Neelam, and Juhi Chawla. This 50-year-old actor is still popular for his dance moves. 

 

Though Katrina Kaif started her career with Kaizag Gustaad’s super flop movie, Boom, she has managed to be one of the most popular actors of Bollywood with many hit films in her kitty. Will Govinda play an endearing father who is happy to be with his lost son, is yet to be found out? Ranbir Kapoor plays a teenager in this movie. It will be interesting to see the look of this 30-year-old actor as a teenager. Govinda who is popular for most of his lighthearted entertaining films will be seen in a very serious role in the movie, Jagga Jasoos. If he is doing a special appearance or a character role in this movie, is yet to be found out. Govinda has probably never done a role of an old man before.
