Priyanka Chopra's 'Mary Kom' trailer will be launched on July 24

Bollywood filmmakers are always up to new tricks to keep us entertained. While romantic-comedies and thrillers are doing the rounds, biopics are the new trend and deserve all the attention they get. Recently we saw ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ which was a biopic on the famous athlete Milkha Singh. In this movie, Farhan Akhtar played the lead role and received a lot of positive response for his performance. This film did extremely well at the box office and was successful with the audience. Now there is another biopic coming up and this time ‘Mary Kom’ is set to tell the story of the famous Olympics boxer Mary Kom. This film is set to depict her journey to becoming a successful boxer and also shows us the struggles she faced in this journey.

 

Priyanka Chopra plays the lead role in this film. The stunning actress took up the challenge of portraying this challenging role of a boxer. She has trained very hard for this film and her hard work is clearly shown in the first-look poster of this film. In this poster we can see Priyanka in anew avatar. She is seen in boxing gear and her look is extremely power packed. Her expression in this poster is phenomenal and has got the attention of critics. The poster is exciting enough to make her fans and the media eagerly anticipate for this film.

 

After the first look poster of mary kom movie was released the filmmakers also released a teaser trailer which was doing the rounds on the internet. After this short teaser trailer, the final full-fledged trailer is about to release on July 24 for everyone to see. A lot is expected from this film after the hype that has been created about this. Priyanka has also allegedly sung a song for this film. The actress was previously involved with international artists for music ventures. She also managed to produce a few hit singles. This will be the first time she sang a song for Bollywood.

 

 

The actress has put in a lot of efforts into her acting performance for this film. She has even had a personal meeting with Mary Kom to take tips from her to incorporate her behaviour so her performance seems authentic. Priyanka is all set to set the screen on fire with her action paced performance. She has dedicated herself to this film and is expected to give an outstanding performance.

 

Surprisingly, Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti is also a part of the film ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ which releases on the same day as ‘Mary Kom’. It will be interesting to watch which of the Chopra sisters makes it big at the box office after the release of this film. The trailer of the film will give us a gist of what we should expect from the film. Critics predict that this film will do extremely well in terms of box-office returns and appreciation from the audience. The industry is also expecting another biopic on the famous cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni; though details about this film haven’t fully been revealed yet.
