Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has no issue in promoting his upcoming film ‘Happy New Year‘ on Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 8′

Actor Salman Khan is all gearing up to host the most popular reality show Bigg Boss season 8 and guess what he states that his rival SRK will promote his upcoming film Happy New Year on the show. Guess the thin ice between the Khans is now cracking."Happy New Year team will promote their film on Bigg Boss. Why will they not come? They have already started their PR here," he said. This is a good news for the Khan fans, they can now see both the ruling Khans together. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan also says he has no issues at all promoting his upcoming film Happy New Year on his rival Salman Khan’s hosted reality TV show Bigg Boss 8. Bigg Boss season 8 will go on air from September 21 on Colors. Farah Khan’s Happy New Year is finally out. The movie stars Junior B Abhishek Bachan and he is very excited about this film. While the audience have been going bananas about it, actor Abhishek Bachchan’s wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and father Amitabh Bachchan are also very impressed with the promo of the film, which features actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah. 

Happy New Year is an upcoming Bollywood action comedy-drama film directed by director Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features cast which includes, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan ,Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood, Sarah-Jane Dias and Jackie Shroff. The film will be showcased worldwide by Yash Raj Films. This will be the third collaboration of the King Khan with the director as they previously worked on films like Main Hoon Na in 2004 and Om Shanti Om in 2007, the latter of which also featured Padukone as the female lead and both the films were a huge success. The tagline of this film indicates that it is a musical heist. The film is set to hit the theatres on Diwali, 24 October 2014 in three different regional languages Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Plans for this upcoming film began way back in the year 2005 but the project was shelved as it clashed with Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om in 2007 which also starred SRK and Deepika Padukone. After her 2010 film Tees Maar Khan, which was a flop director Farah began to consider the possibilities of the film and screenwriting was completed by October 2012.

The long awaited theatrical trailer of Happy New Year has set a ravishing new record on digital platforms, by managing over four million views in just 24 hours. While most of the films go for the YouTube platform, Happy New Year trailer was first launched on the social networking site Facebook’s native video player using an app wherein the trailer was not only launched on the page itself but also on the timelines of all the users who subscribed to the app. “In keeping with the tradition of innovation established by Red Chillies, we were delighted to launch the trailer of HNY for the first time across multiple platforms. This was also done to meet the demands of fans who are consuming talent in ways that suit them. This has given the trailer an unprecedented footprint and delighted the fans,” said Venky Mysore, the CEO RCE. 

 The trailer was also launched on the native video player of another social site Twitter with personalized messages from the cast of the film HNY. “Red Chillies and the cast of Happy New Year understand the value of developing live, personal and interactive connections with their audience, which is only possible on Twitter. From the entire cast and crew sharing every moment of film production on Twitter via their personal handles to their launching personalized trailers and posters on Twitter, Happy New Year has set a new national and global standard in the movie business,” said Market Director, Twitter India, Rishi Jaitley. The Trailer was also launched on Youtube across pages of all the partners: Yash Raj Films, T-Series, Red Chillies’ official channels.
