Why Kapil Sharma is out of Yash Raj Banner

Kapil Sharma has been in the news quite often in the recent times for wrong reasons. When he was selected for one of the lead roles in Yash Raj Film’s Bank Chor, this piece of information made news in the film world. Many anticipated his official entry in the Bollywood film industry with a banner as prestigious as Yash Raj Films. However, now that he is out of this movie project, he has been derided and mocked by none other than twitter fire starter, Kamal R Khan, who did his usual best to instigate Kapil Sharma on twitter for his loss. Many rumors are flying around to guess the real reason behind Kapil Sharma being opted out of this project. Many reasons are being anticipated about it. One of the reasons rumored is Kapil Sharma’s dates were clashing with his popular show Comedy Nights. 

 

 

The other rumor doing the rounds is that, Kapil Sharma is said to have interfered with the script too much and hence was sacked. Kapil Sharma is a popular and much adored standup comedian. His journey started on Star One and seems to be continuing fully fledged and he is a no fledgling comedian. This could have been a good break in the Bollywood film industry and would have added a feather in his cap. This actor from Amritsar, Punjab has taken everyone on a laughing riot. Right from the Bollywood biggies to the hoi polloi. Till date he has done only comedy shows on various channels and also participated in one of the dance shows called Nach Baliye.

 

Before joining the bandwagon of national television channels, he was already popular on the regional Punjabi channel, MH1. He started his career in the year 2006 and there has been no looking back since. Like most of the television actors, he has not gone with the flow and acted in any of the soap operas. He is one consistent actor who has stuck to his genre of comedy without feeling the need to venture into anything else apart from comedy.

 

Kapil Sharma probably does not want to come out of his comfort zone, which is comedy. It would be interesting to watch him in serious or villainous roles. The USP of Kapil Sharma is his extempore comedy and witty comebacks. He could as well do a live show without a script and still get the crowd laughing. Kapil Sharma is in his early 30’s, and we can say, he has hit it off while still young. Bank Chor is an action, crime, comedy film, that could have given Kapil Sharma an extra mileage to his fabulous career. 

 

The star cast of Bank chor has not yet been announced. We can only guess the star cast, given the number of popular comedians in the film industry. We have to wait till the final star cast is announced. If Yash Raj will select newcomers or choose from the seasoned comedians is yet to be found out. All in all, Bank Chor might just be an interesting watch.
